1. General about the GDPR
From May 25, 2018, the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies. The GDPR replaces the existing Personal Data Act (PUL) and applies to all EU countries.

The GDPR is designed to protect you as a customer and your rights regarding the handling and sharing of your personal data. The idea is that you as our customer should feel confident that your registered data will not be used inappropriately. The current Swedish PUL is actually the basis for the GDPR and most of the PUL can be found in the GDPR.

Personal data is data that in some way identifies you as an individual. I.e. name, address, telephone, email etc. Non-personal information on sales and activities is not included as it is considered a trade secret and in many cases subject to accounting rules and reporting requirements.

Industrikomponenter AB has overall responsibility for personal data. (Responsible for and determines the purposes of processing, collecting and using the personal data you provide to us).
5. How do we store your Personal Data?
We store your data in our business systems in order to provide you with the best service.
It is important to distinguish between ordinary and sensitive personal data. Examples of sensitive data are ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership and personal data concerning health or sexual preferences. Industrikomponenter AB will never collect data on sensitive information.
This is how it works:
Industrikomponenter AB urges all holders and users of our booking systems in the service not to enter notes of a sensitive nature into our systems. As a customer, you always have the right to obtain a copy of all data stored about you, including those stored in free text fields in the customer register.
6. What happens in case of a personal data breach?
If Industrikomponenter AB receives a data breach or if an accidental loss of personal data occurs, the controller will document the incident and notify the Data Inspectorate and affected customers.
7. What is a Register Extract?
If you have made a purchase or signed up for our newsletter, you have the right to see the data stored about you in our systems.

8. Can you delete me from your systems?
You who have entered into a customer contract with Industrikomponenter AB have the right to have all your personal data stored about you deleted

If you have entered into a customer agreement with Industrikomponenter AB, you have the right to have all data that can be used to identify you personally removed as of May 25, 2018. This refers to data that can be used to identify you as a person. Non-personal information on sales and activities is not included as it is considered a trade secret and in many cases subject to accounting rules and reporting requirements.
