The bushing resin insulator is manufactured with epoxy compounds or other thermosetting plastics, allowing continuous operation at 200 °C and largely higher for a short time.
The material of the conductive bar is usually silver-coated copper to ensure maximum conductivity; other materials can be used if necessary. Shape and dimensions of terminals can be chosen according to specific requirements. A rubber disc is included for waterproofing if necessary.
