Real Time (IRT) plus the requirements for compliance class C. To achieve the SIL2 level, TRT/S3 includes additional internal monitoring mechanisms as well as safe communication via PROFIsafe. The PROFIsafe protocol is implemented according to the PROFIsafe profile of Safety Technologies.
