“Vibration sensor NVA/S3 PLd The sensor system is intended as a component for use e.g. in the field of vibration. in wind turbines to measure and evaluate masthead vibrations. Registration of dynamic accelerations using MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical System) sensors with subsequent digitization by a controller. The device consists of an acceleration sensor, a controller and three types of output interfaces. The main feature is two safety switching contacts (potential-free),
which can be used e.g. in the security chain to
perform safety shutdown in case of excessive
acceleration values. The data output is performed via the CANopen interface. Default or security profile can be selected. There are also two analog outputs 4 … 20 mA, which can optionally be assigned to two of the three axes, X,Y,Z. Thanks to its high resistance to vibration and shock, the sensor is suitable for use in areas with harsh environmental conditions. Electrical connection is carried out with two or three contacts.”
