“Switching cam encoder NOCN NOCN is a game-free electronic switching cam encoder
with a maximum of four galvanically separated
switching outputs (cams), which can be set by the customer and which are activated or deactivated depending on the current position of the drive shaft. A parameterizable multi-opening absolute encoder with CANopen interface plus switching cam encoder, printed circuit board with separate controllers is integrated in the compact housing. The CANopen position signal of the encoder and the switching outputs can be parameterized separately. Parameterization is performed via the relevant CANopen object in accordance with the encoder profile according to CiA, DS 406, revision 4.01. The NOCN has a fault monitoring system that outputs an error message via the CANopen bus (emergency message) when a fault is detected.
