Brakes
Electromagnetic clutches in the Active Clutch Line are designed for frictionally engaged transmission of torque during dry running. The force effect of an electromagnetic field when applying a DC voltage is used for torque transmission (electromagnetic locking). The Active Clutch Line is characterized by safe residual torque-free release in all installation positions and by torque transmission free of backlash. The couplings operate maintenance-free throughout their lifetime. The combination of different stator and rotor types enables an optimal adaptation to the customer’s application.
