PINMOVIO – Gear drive

PINMOVIO Point Machine is a point machine (also known as a points machine, point motor, switch machine or point motor) – the motor and mechanism that controls the railroad switch. The point machine rearranges the switch tongues, locks the switch in the correct position, and reports back to the signaling system that the switch is secure.

The PINMOVIO WA 550 has a patented, built-in mechanical switch lock, which eliminates the need for traditional, high-maintenance external locking systems. In addition, the low overall height allows the gearmotor to be mounted directly between the rails, without interfering with the existing track system.
