Power supply
Power resistors for high voltage and current. They are available as air-cooled, with or without fan, and as liquid-cooled. The power resistor comes in both closed or enclosures (as pictured). They can be built with adjustable resistance, either with mechanical or digital solution.
For example, they can be built to withstand up to 245000A at 0.02 ohms in resistance.
The active materials are then Iron (Fe), Chromium (Cr) and Aluminum (Al)
High voltage load resistors are used in power and energy systems where electrical energy needs to be absorbed, discharged or converted to heat in a controlled manner. These resistors are designed to handle high voltages and powers and are often used in industrial systems as braking resistors in motor control or as discharge resistors for batteries and condenser banks.
