Elevation Line – Brakes for elevator technology
The Elevation Line is specially designed for elevator technology and includes electromagnetic spring-applied brakes in different versions. The braking systems meet all safety requirements according to EN 81 and offer special solutions for different drive concepts.
Height brakes from Kendrion are characterized by a compact design and a constant braking torque. Therefore, the brake systems are suitable for elevator machines with gears or for gearless drive systems and offer the ideal solution for both rope and belt systems.
The built-in microswitches allow remote monitoring of the brake’s clutch status. All versions are equipped with manual release for manual operation of the brake in case of a lift system failure.
