Rotating transducer TRT single/multiturn

Rotary encoder TRT Detection of the angular position and revolutions by means of Hall sensors – multiturn version with absolute multiturn transmission for up to 4096 revolutions – data output plus parameterization and diagnostics
via PROFINET. Robust housing made of seawater resistant aluminum or stainless steel – stainless steel shaft – ball bearing with radial shaft sealing sensor circuit consisting of ASICs
with Hall element – electrical connection via M12 plug or cable socket. The Profinet interface according to IEC 61158/61784 or PNO specifications order no. 2.712 and 2.722, version 2.2, is integrated in the TRT absolute encoders of the model range. Real time classes 1 – 3 are supported, i.e. Real Time (RT) and Isochronous Real Time (IRT) plus the requirements for compliance class C. It is not necessary to set the address, baud rate or termination resistance. A name, stored in the non-volatile memory of the absolute encoder, is assigned via the PROFINET controller to address the device. The integrated two-way switch allows the TWK PROFINET
absolute encoders can be used in star, tree and line network topologies. An exhaustive description of the integration in a PROFINET network can be found in the manual TRT12887. In the version with code type “”S””, TRT offers a looping function. This converts the sensor axis position value into the position of a slewing ring or rotating table. The oscillating ring encoder allows adjustment of the number of teeth on the smooth ring and on the encoder gear wheel via the encoder’s parameters. In this way, any gear ratio is possible and the encoder can be adapted to any loop by the user. The output values are the position of the oscillating ring in degrees (adjustable resolution) and his speed in degree/time base (adjustable time base).
