
Contactors
This compact DC contactor is revolutionary by using patented technology to break arcs in air, providing extreme reliability and safety in DC applications with high demands but limited space.
All versions can handle 1500VDC and 350/500 amps continuously depending on the model. In the event of a short circuit, significantly higher currents can flow through the contactor without welding the contacts. This means that the contactor maintains its full functionality to disconnect high loads up to 1.5MW – regardless of the direction of the current. This fully bidirectional function is important for systems with a charge and discharge process, for example in battery storage systems or charging stations.
The C303 is available in 3 versions for different applications.
The C303 contactor has an auxiliary contact (aux) with mirror contact function according to IEC 60947-4-1, Annex F. Mirror contacts are required in safety feedback circuits. The mirror contact function informs about the position of the contactor and ensures that the NC contact of the auxiliary contact does not close at the same time as the main NO contact. The NO signal can also be obtained through the built-in auxiliary contact.

The C303 is a compact bi-directional Normal Open (NO) DC contactor for DC applications up to 500 amps and 1500VDC. The contactor has a built-in mechanical Aux switch for safe contactor position feedback. Suitable applications include vehicle charging, pre-charging, photovoltaic installations and battery storage (ESS).
