Vibration sensor NVA The sensor system is intended as a component for use in e.g. in wind turbines to measure and evaluate masthead vibrations. Recording dynamic accelerations using Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) sensors with subsequent digitization by a controller. The device consists of an acceleration sensor, a controller and three types of output interfaces. The data output is performed via two analog interfaces with 4 … 20 mA plus
CANopen and via 4 relay contacts (currently 1 fault relay contact). The NVA is parameterized via the CANopen interface. This is not galvanically separated. The sensor is equipped with a filter circuit to protect against fast transients and surge voltages of up to 2 kV in the supply. Protection types are IP 69K (house) and IP 67.
(plug / socket). With its good vibration and shock values, the sensor is suitable for use in
areas with harsh environmental conditions. The vibration sensor is equipped with a robust aluminum housing (optionally stainless steel). Oblong holes are available for mechanical alignment (up to about ±7.5°).
Electrical connection is performed with two connectors or two cables.
