Industrikomponenter AB, INKOM, was founded in 1967 and we who work at the company today have long experience and great technical knowledge of the products we market. We help customers in Nordic industry with high-quality electromechanical and electronic components and technology for various industries such as rail vehicles, automation equipment, heavy machinery and vehicles, and marine and defense applications. The company works with leading international manufacturers and delivers from its own warehouse in Kista. At present, the company has two established sales teams responsible for the Industrial and Rail Vehicle/Train segments.
The industrial group at INKOM has a customer base in several industries, the common denominator for what we deliver is that it often has to cope with demanding applications. We support each other and always work together to solve our customers’ needs. The position as a technical sales engineer within the Industry Group will be an important part of developing INKOM’s total business, primarily in Sweden, together with existing colleagues.Since 2006, INKOM is part of Teqnion AB, a growing group of companies listed on Nasdaq with fourteen subsidiaries and a turnover of approx. 600Msec.
As a technical salesperson, your main responsibility is to deal with different types of industrial companies all over Sweden. The position involves independently seeking out and building lasting relationships with potential and existing customers in the segment.
Your main tasks are to be responsible for driving the entire sales cycle forward and to be a trusted partner to your customers and suppliers. As a salesperson, you support customers through projects with product and application knowledge. We value relationship building and close cooperation with each customer, often involving a wide variety of tasks and knowledge acquisition. This means solving different types of technical challenges based on each customer’s applications with the help of the company’s suppliers. In the role, you are part of the Industry Group, have your own sales budget and report to the CEO. The position is based in the Kista office. We travel all over Sweden and sometimes Norway, with some travel to suppliers and fairs in Europe.
Your background
- You have a technical university degree, preferably with a focus on energy, electronics or electrical power.
- Experience in modern battery platforms, design and construction of DC systems is an advantage.
- You have experience in technical and project sales.
- You have a genuine technical interest and are passionate about new technologies.
- To succeed in the role, you are business smart and enjoy working closely with customers in projects.
- You are goal-oriented, highly motivated, identify opportunities and participate in improvement efforts.
- You are a social and outgoing person who finds it easy to establish good relations and new contacts.
- You have good oral and written skills in both Swedish and English.
To thrive in the role, you are a curious person who likes to take your own initiatives to drive your work forward. You are used to working independently and you enjoy working in a results-oriented environment. As a person, you are confident in social situations and can easily explain complex solutions in a pedagogical way.
